XIMEA presents unique Thunderbolt™ 2 enabled cameras that currently include models with the newest sensors from Sony (IMX174) and CMOSIS (CMV20000).  

Cameras offer the data and control interface which is able to deliver 20 Gbit/s bandwidth without the need of any frame grabbers. The data is streaming directly through Thunderbolt™ cable which can reach distances up to 60m when the fiber optic option is used.

First model MT200 offers 20 Mpix full resolution of CMOS sensor with Global Shutter that can be utilized at 30 frames per second in the 12 bit mode. Camera itself is further equipped with active EF-mount interface for control of dynamic aperture and focus. Falcon Ridge 4C dual port makes daisy chain interconnection possible.

Second model MT023 with the Sony’s latest CMOS sensors featuring technology called Pregius™ delivers outstanding imaging performance capable to provide 2.3 Mpix at 128fps (in 12bit) or 165fps (10bit). Camera can be bus powered removing the need in additional cables and comes in compact housing of 26x26x38mm

MT200 is CERTIFIED and MT023 is CERTIFIED, which approves XIMEA to ship both models with Thunderbolt Trademark and Logo for PC and Mac.
